DOTC, MRTC blame each other for MRT woes

During a public service committee on Wednesday (October 1), Metro Rail Transit Corp. (MRTC) Robert Sobrepeña said that, as early as 2010, his company had repeatedly asked the Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) to start looking for a new maintenance provider because Sumitomo's contract was about to end that year. But he said the request fell on deaf ears.
